Where Lies Die

I've been told there are as many truths as men but I never really thought we'd come to this. Build on the sand. Display one more sleight of hand. My suspects take effect as the truth finds its way back to the surface. That's a debt you can't repay. What was there to gain from your lies and feeble trickery? You've come to a dead end. Silence is where the cruelest lies are told. A mask you cannot longer wear, you can't fake or pretend. It's the most miserable ploy, to steal away our right to the truth to fuel your cause. Trust is swiftly dying in flames. A bunch of lies that have been said, unbelievable conditions that we had to accept. Trust is swiftly dying in flames. No rights left to reclaim. If we don't know what it's left to believe then we can give up any hope of progressing. An unfulfilling motivation lies there, to accept this defeat as a fact. We only tried to defeat the undefeated, we ended up in a fight without a meaning. A kingdom destined to be overthrown. What was there to gain from your lies and feeble trickery?
